A daily gel cleanser with rose-derived Sodium DNA, Rosa Damascena flower extract, and gentle co-surfactants. Slightly alkaline by design — built to cut through sunscreen and sebum on oily and combination skin without compromising the barrier the rinse leaves behind.
CURENEX built this around saponified plant fatty acids — the traditional, slightly alkaline cleansing system that handles sebum, sunscreen, and daily buildup more effectively than acidic gel cleansers. Cocamidopropyl betaine and potassium cocoyl glycinate buffer the soap, reduce irritation potential, and rinse out cleanly.
Recommended by CURENEX for pre- and post-treatment cleansing in aesthetic procedures, and for daily use on dehydrated, oily, or combination skin. For dry or barrier-compromised skin types, the slightly alkaline pH may feel less comfortable than amino-acid-only cleansers — patch test if you're unsure.
Dispense a pea- to dime-sized amount into wet hands. Work into a soft lather between palms before applying — this matters for the foam to penetrate evenly.
Gently massage on damp face and neck for 30–60 seconds. Don't scrub. The contact time is what cleans, not the friction.
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water — not hot. Hot water undoes what the cleanser is trying to preserve. Pat dry with a clean towel.
Use morning and night. For makeup or heavy SPF, follow an oil-based first cleanse before using this one.
The active is Sodium DNA — polynucleotides that survive the brief contact time of a cleanser to deliver some PDRN signaling at the surface. Pairs with Rosa Damascena flower extract, the rose source CURENEX uses across the line. Most actives in cleansers do nothing. These are formulated stable enough to deposit through the rinse.
Traditional Korean cleansing chemistry — plant fatty acids saponified in-formula with potassium hydroxide to create the cleansing soaps. Slightly alkaline pH is the point: it cuts through sebum, sunscreen, and oxidized lipids more effectively than acidic surfactant cleansers. Better suited to oily and combination skin than to compromised barriers.
Buffer the soap. Cocamidopropyl betaine is amphoteric — it tempers the alkalinity and reduces irritation potential. Potassium cocoyl glycinate is the gentle amino-acid-derived surfactant that softens the foam profile. Together they're why a soap-based cleanser can still feel kind to skin.
Glycerin is the humectant that survives the rinse — it deposits a thin protective film that keeps skin from feeling tight after washing. Rose extract delivers quercetin and polyphenols at the surface-contact level, an antioxidant and aromatic contribution rather than a deep treatment effect.
This cleanser contains essential-oil fragrance — orange, bergamot, and mandarin peel oils, with limonene and linalool as natural fragrance constituents. These are common cosmetic allergens. If you're fragrance-sensitive or react to citrus oils, this isn't the cleanser for you. We'll add a fragrance-free option as the line grows.
